This is a sample of the possible layout and content for the ASCN website - Andrew Yam.

The creation of the ASCN is part of the National Stem Cell Centre's initiative to create a mobilized and globally competitive stem cell community that is able to readily respond to the challenges of a rapidly developing scientific, legal, ethical and social environment.

Science Ethics Policy Business Awareness
    The ASCN has the aims to create a unified voice from members representing the Academics and Researchers, Biotechnology Professionals, Community Development Groups.

    Our objectives are:
  • Science - sharing of knowledge and ideas through collaborations and the establishment of the National Stem Cell Centre
  • Ethics - debate of legal, moral principles in research, clinical and commercial settings
  • Policy - keep the Australian Government informed of all developments
  • Business - increase awareness of business opportunities
  • Awareness - through promotion of Australia's stem cell technologies and issues to communities
